Of all the tools that I have listed in this directory, EchoSign is the “must-have” freesource for almost any business (big or small). The efficiency you will gain with this product is incredible. Wish the jump from the free version to the next package wasn’t so dramatic (to go from 5 contracts / month for the free to unlimited for $14.95 is too much. I would pay $5 per month for say 25 contracts… a good tiered approach would be:
5 = Free
25 = $5
50 = $10
Unlimited $14.95
With a scale like this they would capture more of the SMB market. Right now they go from entrepreneur to big corp with one product upgrade.
Constructive criticism aside, EchoSign is a terrific product – they were also one of my true inspirations to putting this directory together!
Cheers,
Nathan

Nathan – appreciate the feedback on pricing structures. We’ve experimented here in the past and the uptake was surprisingly low on a tier between Free (a great deal as you noted
and truly free) and Pro ($15) … the net uptake was essentially zero. People seem to clump either into Free users (which is great) or power users, with very few in between. But it’s a good reminder to take a fresh look – and we will. Jason M Lemkin, ceo, echosign
